Ready for What Matters

An experiential learning program designed to help children ages 5–11 develop purpose, confidence, and a healthy relationship with wealth delivered in weekly 15-minute lessons over a year.
Who We Are

The Launched Learning Approach

Children growing up in families of significant means face unique opportunities and challenges. Preparation matters. Launched Learning helps families introduce essential conversations early, in ways that feel natural, age-appropriate, and deeply human. It’s not about revealing financial information or the particulars of wealth accumulation. Rather, the thoughtfully curated program blends education, reflection, and hands-on exploration while preparing children for the lives they will lead. Based on work with the children of America’s wealthiest families, the program begins with the end in mind, incorporating activities that are kid-tested and fun for families.

Each lesson is:

  • Multi-disciplinary and multi-modal
  • Designed for different learning styles
  • Flexible for busy families
  • Grounded in decades of real-world advisory experience

The top concerns and questions we hear from parents come from a place of concern and care:

  • How do I talk to my kids about this?

  • What do I say?

  • When is the right age?

  • What education topics do we begin with?

  • Won’t talking to children about family wealth rob them of ambition?

The Five Pillars

A carefully curated curriculum developed around Five Pillars inspires growth, fosters resilience, and nurtures a sense of social responsibility, helping children build a bright and meaningful future.

MONEY SKILLS

Proverbs 21:20 The wise one saves for the future, but the foolish one spends everything.
Age-appropriate financial literacy that introduces saving, spending, sharing, budgeting, and investing. Children learn how money works and how to use it thoughtfully without fear, secrecy, or entitlement. These are the foundational skills for investing, personal finance and operating a business.

PURPOSE & MEANING

Psalm 139:14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.but the foolish one spends everything.
Helping children explore values, curiosity, contribution, and connection, while encouraging reflection on who they are becoming, what matters to them, and how choices can create a sense of purpose beyond achievement or wealth.

LEADING & DECIDING

Acts 15:7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them. Developing communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making skills. Children practice making choices, solving problems, and leading with empathy in a changing world. Children eventually need to be prepared to attend board meetings, shareholders meetings and make decisions regarding joint assets. This pillar prepares them to interact with governance and legal structures.

STEWARDSHIP

1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
Teaching responsibility for financial, social, and environmental capital. Children learn long-term thinking, care for resources, and the importance of legacy. These are the foundational principles for being a beneficiary, trustee or settlor of a trust, philanthropic decision-making and owning shared assets.

PHILANTHROPY

2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Exploring generosity, empathy, and impact. Children discover how giving time, attention, and resources can create meaningful change and connection beyond themselves. This pillar prepares children to engage in philanthropic activities which may include a private family foundation, a donor-advised fund or informed personal giving.

Meet the Founders

Mindy Kalinowski Earley and Susan Wells Jenevein have been working with ultra-high-net-worth families for decades. They are trusted advisors invited into family meetings, family offices, and family homes. They lead projects around human capital development, philanthropy, next generation preparation, family cohesion, and children’s education. Launched Learning is born out of a desire to bring their experience and resources to families and advisors seeking a learning program that will prepare children for the unique lives they will lead.
